HOTELYA.ART · WHY WE EXIST
The walls nobody owned
Hotels take everything seriously except their walls. Hotelya.art exists to change that, one hotel at a time.
01 · It begins in a corridor
A corridor, late at night
It is late. A guest steps out of the lift after a long day of travel and begins the walk to the room. The carpet is soft, the light is warm, the doors are polished. And on the walls, between the doors, hang the same tired prints that have hung there for years, chosen once by someone whose real task was the furniture.
The guest will not stop to look. Few guests ever do. Yet something registers all the same, the way a slightly wrong note registers in a song you do not know. The hotel has taken care of everything, except this.
We have walked that corridor many times, in many hotels. Hotelya.art began there, with a question that would not leave us: who, in a hotel, is truly responsible for the art?

02 · The problem
Everything polished, except the walls
Hotels are among the most carefully made places on earth. Then, at the very end of a long renovation, when the budget is tired and the opening date is close, someone orders the art. It is hung, and then it is forgotten, often for seven years or more.
No one did anything wrong. The art in a hotel is not neglected because people do not care; it is neglected because it belongs to no one. Hotels do not lack art. They lack someone whose whole work is the art.
01
No owner
Art is bought by whoever handles the furniture, the renovation or the purchasing. It is nobody’s craft.
02
Bought once
It arrives with a renovation and stays until the next one: faded, damaged and dated pieces that guests see every day.
03
Repetition
Volume is solved by repeating one image, or by unrelated pictures that never belong together.
04
One set of walls
The summer guest and the winter guest see the same walls, whatever brought them.
05
Cash at the wrong time
Changing art means a cash outlay that rarely wins against rooms, kitchens and pools.
06
No one to keep it
At hundreds of pieces, art becomes production, logistics, safety and care. Galleries and print shops are not built to carry that for years.
03 · What we are
One partner for all the art in a hotel
01
A producer at hotel scale
Collections start from 100 pieces, delivered to one standard across a whole property.
02
A curator for the property
We decide what belongs on the walls, drawn from the hotel’s colors, identity and story.
03
A partner for years
We rotate, replace and record every piece for as long as the collection hangs.
WE ARE NOT
Not a gallery
A gallery sells single works to individuals. Our unit is the whole hotel.
WE ARE NOT
Not a print shop
Anyone can print five hundred copies of one image. That is the wall we set out to replace.
WE ARE NOT
Not a consultant who leaves
The concept and the delivery stay together, with one partner accountable for both.
04 · What sets us apart
Few companies like it, anywhere
When we looked for the company that should already be doing this work, we found pieces of it everywhere and the whole of it nowhere. To our knowledge, Hotelya.art is the first company in the world to bring an understanding of art, the need to change, what hotels require and the DNA of each hotel together, and the first in Türkiye to give hotels a collection of their own that is cared for and changes with the seasons. On the coast where we began, we found no one doing it. Across the world, only a handful come close.
01
One soul
A concept of its own for every hotel, with variations for each floor and each kind of space. Many unique pieces, one family.
02
Original art
Every piece comes from our own studio: created, owned and guaranteed by one partner. No stock images.
03
Exclusive in its area
The pieces placed in a hotel are not placed in any other hotel in its area, as agreed in writing.
04
Made for change
Collections rotate with the seasons, the guests and the events a hotel hosts; damaged pieces are replaced.
05
Your frames, or ours
We swap only the art inside the frames a hotel already owns, add new framed pieces, or both.
06
Ready in days
Concept options with free mock-ups in the hotel’s own spaces, before any commitment.
07
Three ways to pay
Money, off-season room-nights, an in-hotel exhibition of our art, or a mix.
08
Hotel-grade
Fine-art giclée, acrylic glazing in our frames, a stated fire class and secure fixing.
09
Art guests take home
A deck of QR guest cards lets guests learn about the art and order a certified reprint.
05 · For hotels
What a hotel gains
01
A considered property
One concept through every space tells guests the hotel was designed on purpose, with taste.
02
An identity of its own
Art drawn from the hotel’s own colors and story, that no neighbor shares.
03
One partner, not many
Concept, production, framing, installation, rotation and records from one partner.
04
Payment that fits the season
Room-nights in the quiet months and in-hotel exhibitions turn what a hotel has into art.
05
Less waste, lower cost
An art swap keeps the frames a hotel owns and changes only what guests see.
06
Walls that keep up
Rotation and replacement keep the walls in step with the guests and the years.
07
Calm for the teams
Fire classes, placement plans and schedules in writing, and quiet work around the guests.
08
A reason to remember
Guest cards start a conversation, and a certified reprint takes the stay home.
06 · For tourism
A destination is remembered through its hotels
When the walls of a coast’s hotels rise to the standard of their rooms, their food and their service, the whole destination rises with them.
01
A higher standard
Coherent, original and well-kept art makes a hotel feel like somewhere, not anywhere.
02
A stronger off-season
Room-nights and in-hotel exhibitions bring life and value to the quieter months.
03
Art for new audiences
Exhibitions and guest cards bring original art to travelers who may never enter a gallery.
04
A sense of place
Local landscape, botanical and heritage themes tell the story of the place around a hotel.
05
Responsible renewal
Swapping the art, keeping the frames and producing to order mean less waste.
06
Ready for big moments
Summits, congresses and celebrations: collections can be refreshed so hotels are ready.

07 · Epilogue
The same corridor, one year later
It is late again. Another guest steps out of the lift, tired from the road, and begins the same walk to the room. But the corridor has changed. Between the doors hang pieces that belong together, and to this hotel alone: quieter here, brighter there, each one a little different from the last.
The guest still does not stop. But something settles. The hotel feels whole. That is the moment we work for, and we would be glad to create it in your hotel, wherever it stands.
